Chinese Firm signs MoU with ZTBL

ISLAMABAD: A Chinese delegation comprising of six members signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Zarai Taraqiati Bank Ltd here on Monday.

The Chinese delegation, headed by Mr. Li Youji from M/s YTO International Limited, was on a visit to ZTBL to explore new avenues of investment and wide spread collaboration in agriculture sector through the introduction and promotion of innovative agriculture technology. 

“The farmers’ awareness through dissemination of agriculture information from all modes of communication is vital for the productivity enhancement and meeting the food security challenges” said Zaka Ashraf, President ZTBL in the meeting with visiting Chinese delegation followed by MOU signing ceremony.

“In the light of vision of President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and the Peoples’ Government for agricultural development and farmers’ uplift, we must explore every path which could help the farmers to increase their production and profitability. We need to adopt modern farm practices for providing innovative and effective food and agriculture solutions” said Zaka Ashraf.

The leader of Chinese delegation Mr. Li Yousi gave presentation on M/s YTO world services regarding their tractors from 18hp-200hp and other agriculture implements. He told that YTO Group Crop is a comprehensive machine building company established in 1955 and a demonstration will be held in this respect to introduce their products and services.
